No. 46 115,000dwt crude oil/product carrier, built by DSIC for Maersk Tankers, was signed for delivery on April 15.
This ship is the fourth 115,000dwt crude oil/product carrier undertaken by DSIC for Maersk. It is a new generation of refined oil vessel with excellent fuel economy and cargo carrying capacity.
The ship has total length of 250m, molded breadth of 44.0m, molded depth of 21.9m, design draft of 13.75m, structural draft of 15.35m and deadweight of 115,000 tons. The cargo area is of double shell, double bottom, single deck and longitudinal framework structure. The cargo area is divided into 6 pairs of cargo tanks with 6 pairs of ballast tanks on both sides, 1 pair of slop tanks and 1 residual oil tank.
The ship has good matching design of hull, engine and propeller, and is equipped with energy-saving guide wheels, which fully improve the efficiency of the propulsion system. Reasonable engine and propeller coordination, room layout and structural design have obtained excellent vibration and noise design indexes. |
