On December 18, 2015, CSIC has commenced another cooperation with China Merchants Group Ltd., where DSIC has signed a cooperation agreement for six 308k DWT VLCCs with the wholly-owned subsidiary held by China Merchants Group. This batch of VLCCs is the new generation of energy efficient ones tailor made for China Merchants Group, which is also a key project for CSIC to be highly recognized in terms of design capability, performance index and construction quality of VLCC worldwide.
